The ARIN Review Sessions have been a crucial phase in our journey, characterized by several noteworthy accomplishments. We’ve been successful in creating a setting that encourages networking and peer learning, as well as a cooperative spirit among fellows. Notably, our work as fellows highlights our community’s intellectual vitality and demonstrate our dedication to making significant contributions to the field of research.
Our success has been largely attributed to our strategic alliances, which have increased our influence and reach. Not only has the smooth integration of fellows into project activities and platforms enhanced their experiences, but it has also made a substantial contribution to the wider objectives of ARIN. The creation of a new ARIN Secretariat hub, which offers fellows a centralized point for collaboration is evidence of our dedication to organizational efficiency and our outcome
Looking ahead, we have several plans for the ARIN Fellowship come 2024. The creation of an ARIN Fellowship Assembly as a unified endeavor to fortify community ties and magnify our combined influence. This assembly will be held in the month of November at Makerere. The introduction of the ARIN Small Grant and Mentorship Scheme is anticipated to foster creativity among fellows by offering crucial assistance for their personal and professional development. Regular ARIN Fellows Newsletters will be produced bimonthly. This will be done during the bimonthly seminars and trainings to improve communication, inform the community of developments, and promote a spirit of knowledge sharing.
