Dr Mary Natongo is a Fellow at ARIN. She is also a lecturer at the department of Economics, Makerere University Business School in Uganda, where she carries out research, develop study programs and train students in the fields of energy, natural resource, climate, development and environment economics. She is also a research fellow in applied development finance under the European Investment Bank /Global Development Network (EIB/GDN) program, which aims to deepen understanding of the results and impacts of private sector investments funded through the Impact Financing Envelope of the EIB. She holds a PhD in environment and development studies.
Her thematic focus areas are in climate mitigation, forestry and biodiversity, land and renewable energy.
