
George Masila is a broadly experienced communications expert and development communication consultant with a demonstrated history of implementing various projects in Kenya and East Africa. He holds a lot of interest in the Kenyan Innovation and Startup Ecosystem, and believes in supporting low cost technologies and innovations. In his practice, George has implemented various programs supported by, development agencies, the Kenyan Government, multinational companies and international organizations such as GIZ, UNICEF, UNHABITAT, Shell Foundation, UK-Kenya Tech Hub, FINGO, Uber, Google, the Finish Government among others. He has also consulted to develop and implement Communication for Development (C4D) strategies for organizations such as UNFPA and the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE). George holds a BA degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Nairobi and Masters major in Development Communication from the same institution. His solid educational background and experience has equipped him with relevant skills to develop multimedia communication materials, come up with communication and dissemination strategies and effectively crusade stakeholders for different campaigns.
