The Africa Research and Impact Network (ARIN), in collaboration with its East Africa Focal Point Persons, cordially invites you to the upcoming Virtual Focus Group Discussions on Impact Assessment of Climate Change Adaptation Interventions in Kenya. This session has been scheduled for the 11th of June 2024 from 1400Hrs – 1600Hrs (EAT).
The study is supported by the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office, through the East Africa Research and Innovation Hub. It aims to identify priority sectors, interventions, institutional frameworks, and their effectiveness in building resilience among vulnerable communities and marginalized groups in the East African Region.
In the discussions, we aim to;
1.Fill the evidence gaps by providing empirical data on the effectiveness of adaptation interventions, essential adaptation needs, and existing institutional frameworks to accelerate adaptation actions.
2.Identify contextualized opportunities for adaptation investments in Disaster risk reduction (DRR), Nature-based solutions, Climate-resilient infrastructures, and water security.
