Ferdinand Combary



Ferdinand Combary is an urban planner by training and is currently a PhD candidate in sustainable urban development at the Regional Center of Excellence on Sustainable Cities in Africa at the University of Lomé in Togo. He is particularly interested in the development of green, resilient, and sustainable urban environments. His research area focuses on green city policies in Africa, particularly in Sahelian cities and the process of citizen participation. Ferdinand has completed several projects in youth engagement on biodiversity and climate issues in the Francophonie.
