Iddrisu Salifu



Iddrisu Salifu is a Ghanaian from Kugasigo, a suburb of Garu-Tempane in the Upper East Region of Ghana. He has a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Iddrisu Salifu is also a World Bank scholar with a master’s degree in Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) from the Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR), University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He has a strong interest in developing knowledge as power to uplift the socio-economic status of society and contribute towards achieving the sustainable development goals. He particularly enjoys an indescribable feeling of victory when a problem, especially the ones related to vulnerable groups, are solved. As such, As such, he has gained knowledge in economics, health, integrated coastal zone management, climate change, and blue economy. He has also developed a strong quantitative analytical skill using STATA.
