Missi Missi Philippe



Missi Missi Philippe is a climate change and development expert – on experience in Project Design, Climate Finance and Review of Transparency Reports. He has a B.Sc. in Computer Science in University of Douala and M.Eng. in Social Sciences for Development in University of Maroua. Civil Servant, he is currently Research Engineer N°1 of Climate Follow-up in the Ministry of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development of Cameroon and member of the UNFCCC Roster of Experts. In this context, he was involved in the assessment of the Biennial Reports of New Zealand and Japan, as well as the Biennial Updated Reports of Mauritania and India.

Missi Missi Philippe is in charge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Monitoring of climate change activities in his administration. He is a Certified Expert in Financing NDCs trained by the Frankfurter School of Finance and Management. He has a strong desire to see massive development in Africa and believes that tackling climate change through a Water, Energy and Food (WEF) nexus would lift many Africans out of poverty.
